Raw Bounty Bites

Looking for a guilt-free alternative to your favourite, store-bought Bounty bar? These bounty bites contain no refined sugar and no additives. Made with a soft coconut filing, coated in melted dark chocolate, and topped with the nuts of your choice, these bites are the perfect treat. Be warned, however, once you try them you might end up making them all year round!


Serves 14 / 16 bites
  • 280g unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 35 ml liquid raw honey or maple syrup
  • 30 ml virgin coconut oil
  • 95 ml organic coconut milk
  • A pinch of salt
  • 100g 85% dark chocolate, chopped into pieces (1 tbsp of water)
  • A few almonds, walnuts and pistachios

Add all the ingredients besides the dark chocolate into a blender. Pulse until the mixture comes together but still has texture.

Roll a tablespoon of the mixture into round balls (I shaped mine into squares by using a square ice cube maker).

Freeze for at least an hour.

Melt chocolate in a pan and remove the coconut bites from the freezer.

Dip them in the melted chocolate and place them on a cooling grid or baking tray with parchment paper.

Add a nut on top of each one and place in the fridge and wait until the chocolate is completely hard. Enjoy!
