Matcha Energy Bites

Not only does matcha green tea have a unique and rich taste, it also has many health benefits. It is, for example, packed with antioxidants, which help fight against free radicals. A diet rich in antioxidants helps prevent infections and diseases: matcha is a great immune booster!

INGREDIENTS

Serves 12 bites
  • 100g desiccated coconut
  • 100g medjool dates
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder + extra for coating
  • 1tbsp hemp protein powder

Blend the desiccated coconut and dates until they are nicely crushed. Add all the other ingredients and blend once more.

Roll the mix into balls (or, alternatively, shape them into squares using an ice cube maker).

Freeze for an hour and store in an airtight container in the fridge. They keep for up to two weeks. Or keep the energy bites in the freezer take them out 15/30 min before serving.
