Kale Crisps

Kale crisps are simple and easy to prepare and literally take seconds. My family and friends love them. I add nutritional yeast flakes to give a delicious savoury taste to the crisps. You can replace it with chili powder if you like to spice them up.

Cooking time: 30-40 mins

INGREDIENTS

Serves 2-3
  • 200g fresh kale
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 nutritional yeast (I used Marigold Engevita yeast flakes with B12)

Preheat the oven to 100ºC

Remove stems from the kale and place leaves into an oven dish.

Add olive oil and massage the kale for 3-4 minutes until leaves soften.

Sprinkle nutritional yeast on top

Place in the oven for 30-40 minutes and check on leaves every 10 minutes until crisp. Enjoy!
