Golden Milk Latte Overnight Oats

Ancient yogis used to consume the Ayurvedic golden milk for its health benefits. Its special ingredient is turmeric, which contains curcumin. Curcumin provides medicinal properties and is used to reduce joint pain, inflammation and support detoxification and cognitive functions. You can partake in golden milk’s benefits with a healthy breakfast. Simply use this recipe to soak your oats over night.

INGREDIENTS

Serves 1
For the golden milk latte
  • 1 cup plant based milk (coconut, almond…)
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • ¼ tsp ginger powder or fresh grated fresh ginger
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of ground cardamom
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tsp of raw honey or maple syrup (optional)
For the overnight oats
  • 1/3 cup Jumbo oats
  • 1/2 cup golden milk latte
For the golden milk latte

Mix all the ingredients together and stir well.

For the overnight oats

Mix the golden milk and oats together in mason jar or a bowl. Add honey or maple syrup for a sweeter taste.

Place it in the fridge overnight or at least for 2 hours.

Top up with any fruits you’d like. Enjoy!
